"Are we going in there?" and "Wow!" were just 2 of the comments of the class, as we walked up to and into Durham Cathedral, as part of our work on magnificent Norman architecture.
That awe and wonder we felt must have been felt by the Saxons who saw the Normans building huge cathedrals and castles!
What a great trip. I went to Durham Cathedral many years ago and was amazed by all the history
