As part of our transition to the Comp, we have looked at various formulae for finding the area of different shapes like:
Learn about these shapes from our experts - can any children younger than Year 6 find out: 1) The area of a rectangle with sides of 3 cm and 8cm? 1) The area of a circle with a radius of 7cm? 2) The area of a trapezium with height 6cm and sides a = 4cm and b = 10? Team points and success cards for good attempts! Here is an example of your coding challenge this week.
As part of Sports week, we have a Year 6 dodgeball tournament. After some terrific games, team 3 won and will go out to play Year 5's winning team. Watch this space for the result.... Meanwhile, here are some images and action from the games.... |
