The time has come to get ready for the Leavers' Song! The lyrics were begun by Alyssa, Jack F. and Ryan and then developed by the class. We finished our SATs and took the long way round, Some bananas for the way. And I sure did like reading and writing, And the Maths was easy some say. When we're gone, when we're gone. You're gonna miss us when we're gone. We’ve made friends along the way, We wish Sports Day’s every day. Oh You're gonna miss us when we're gone. When we're gone, when we're gone. You're gonna miss us when we're gone. You're gonna miss us by our walk, You're gonna miss us by our talk. Oh. You're gonna miss us when we're gone. We got the bus to Ho-owtown, The route with prettiest of views. It had climbing, It had swimming. It had jogging and it had dipping. Yeah, we really do have memories. When we're gone, when we're gone. You're gonna miss us when we're gone. You're gonna miss us by our walk, You're gonna miss us by our talk. Oh. You're gonna miss us when we're gone. When I'm gone, when I'm gone. We're gonna miss you when we're gone. Mrs H, Mr T, Mrs. J., Mr P. Oh We're gonna miss them when we're gone. When we're gone, when we're gone. The teachers may shed a tear. They will cry, we will weep. But our future is clear. Oh We're gonna miss you when we're gone. As part of our transition to the Comp, we have looked at various formulae for finding the area of different shapes like:
Learn about these shapes from our experts - can any children younger than Year 6 find out: 1) The area of a rectangle with sides of 3 cm and 8cm? 1) The area of a circle with a radius of 7cm? 2) The area of a trapezium with height 6cm and sides a = 4cm and b = 10? Team points and success cards for good attempts! |
