Slowly, I walked down the street to my friends house. It was dark, probaly around 10 o'clock at night. Petrified, I jumped in the sight of a turtle. It had a orange shell. I told my friend all that has happened she thought it was funny. He next day I went home and my mum thought it was 'funny'

Your use of commas is really great Kristen, and I love the way you have opened a sentence with 'Petrified,'! I will show this to some children in my class to see if they could use the same idea!
