Over the past few weeks, myself and Anais have been working on a mind map. Here is a picture to see how we did.
Having finished their work, one group today used an iPad to research the way scientists classify animals. Here are their Show Me videos: Are you a reptile or a mammal? Well here we are: back to school after 6 sunny weeks! Our new Science unit is about animals and plants. It includes what they need to live, how they need each other (interdependence) and how different animals and plants have changed (adaptation) to suit their habitats. Below are some weblinks with games that you can play to find out more (including using spelling of key words to defeat zombies!) Enjoy! http://www.bbc.co.uk/schools/scienceclips/ages/10_11/interdependence.shtml http://www.crickweb.co.uk/ks2science.html (Try the Food chains, variation, minibeast classification activities) http://www.what2learn.com/games/play/4190/ |
