We looked at famous landscape art which uses perspective.
We used the vanishing point to create 3D effects! Updated: Here is the link! Yesterday, Libby walked to the park with
her puppy. Libby’s puppy (Mia) sniffed out an old grey raggy box! At this moment Libby wanted to be nosey so she grabbed the box. Suddenly a quick movement struck. Shall I open it? The lid opened slightly but when she opened the lid a small insect popped out! “Not much then!” After that another movement although there was nothing there was nothing there the first time but she was determined that there would be something this time! 5 times later she gave up and but what she didn’t know was it was good luck and then she sadly walked home! Last week, we actually gave out 3 class awards: Cailen and Curtis both achieved more than 20000 points on Mathletics, whilst Lara won the class design for Nick Sharratt's pants (see the previous post). Brilliant effort! In addition, most of the class got their first Bronze certificate in Mathletics! Well done - keep practising everyone! After serious internet problems this week, we are up and running again. On Tuesday we celebrated World Book Day with Nick Sharratt coming in to talk about, amongst other things, pants and socks! |
AuthorWe are Year 6 at Tanfield Lea Community Primary School, a primary school in County Durham who want to broaden our horizons and to show the world what we have to offer. We are using this blog to explore web design, write creatively and as a wider audience for the class' talents!
