After researching and writing a biography of Zeus, today you will choose a different God.
1. Research the God you have chosen. 2. Write about them on the Notes, edit it then post it here. 3. Remember to include it on in your eBook and on your blog!
Hades is a god but not just a god (god of the underworld) he is extremely powerful he does not like people entering then leaving the underworld if that happens he won't be very happy about it. He has ruled over the underworld for thousands of years. Hades is also the god of wealth, due to the precious metals that mined from the earth. He has a helmet that makes him invisible and he rarely leaves the underworld. He does not like visitors to enter and leave the underworld.
Hades is a mean mean man he will punish anyone that makes him angry his strength is over the top he will do what he wants when he wants. Also, he is more greedy than a cow in a field of warm, shiny new grown grass
Hades parents are Cronus and Rhea (they are both strong titans). Hades is the brother of Zeus. After the overthrow of their Father Cronus he drew lots with Zeus and Poseidon, another brother, to share the power of the world. Another thing, you may not think he is hades family but Cerberus ( his powerful three headed dog ) is family to him. Hades wife Persephone is quite the beautiful goddess, though she only stays in the Underworld for three or four months a year.
Hades has only three weapons, he is able to summon. Demons and other creatures from the underworld. His dog Cerberus is a weapon to if he is angry he will sometimes get his loyal companion to eat them. His last weapon is a two - ponged staff it is extremely sharp.
Hades only wears one piece of clothing and that is his brown silky robe which he wears every day he has horns on his head. And is mostly seen his extremely gloomy throne. He is also know as Pluto
all the main gods the Lived at Mount Olympus ( the mountain of the gods) .However,Hades did not live on Mount Olympus because he is god of the underworld. Hades is said to had a fight with brother Zeus but during the battle he was tricked to be king of the underworld but later on during his time in the underworld he decided that it wasn't so bad

Heracles: A Demi-god Of Strength.
Zeus had many children with his sister, Hera, however, none of them were as strong as Heracles. The son of Zeus is also known as Hercules (Roman name).
Heracles is the son of Zeus and Hera. He is also the brother of Athena, Ares, Muses and many more. His grandparents are the titans known as Cronus and Rhea.
The Demi-god is normally known as a muscular, dark-tanned man with a lot of accessories like bracelets, necklaces, a band around his head and a sash around his upper body. He has a large, black beard with very few clothes.
Like many gods, Demi-gods and heroes, he has a story, 'The Story Of Heracles!' When Heracles was born, Hera was very jealous and tried many ways to kill him but he was to strong and prevented every attempt of his mother's evil ways of killing him. Zeus was very aware of threatened Heracles and moved him to a mortal family on Earth.
When Heracles was living on earth, his evil cousin Eura and his mother Hera, made up the 12 Labours that Heracles would have to complete in order to be granted immortality. However, Heracles was not a fool, he asked the Oracle of Delphi who agreed with this. Actually, the oracle said, "You will be granted immortality!" This hero did not know whether it would be immortality in legend or in real life.
Heracles not only lived, he had many great adventures as well. This was 'The Story Of Heracles!'

Ares is the god of war, battle, rebellion, civil order, rage, violence, courage, fear, works and warfare. His mother was Hera but he has no dad because she took a herb that let her have a baby on her own. When Ares was young, Zeus, the god of all gods, give him to some giants that put him in a bras jar. Eventually Hera realised where he went and took him to Priapus where he trained till he was an adult.
His sister was Athena who also a deity of warfare but in different aspects; Ares was the god of war and bloodlust and the primal nature of warfare, all it's violence and brutality and just fought of instinct, but Athena represents strategy and tactical warfare. Ares was not a very favoured god because of his brutality- infact he was coincided as a mercenary of types. He is seen wearing a golden helmet, chest plate, a spear, shield and a red cape.http://th04.deviantart.net/fs70/PRE/i/2013/018/f/a/ares_by_peterprime-d5rvzcq.png(press for a picture of Ares)

Athena
Athena is the name of an important Goddess for the Greeks. The Goddess is the Parton Goddess of the city state of Athens. She didn't have a mother because she was born out of her father ,Zeus's forehead. The powerful goddess didn't enjoy most of her punishments and she could be feisty when challenged. Athena is the Goddess of wisdom, domestic arts and war.
Here is some of Athena's family tree: Kronos: grandfather Rhea: grandmother Zeus: father Hestia: aunt Aphrodite: cousin Artemis: half sister Apollo: half brother and many more.
The goddesses powers were war and wisdom. The powerful goddess has two symbols which are an owl and a olive tree which represents peace. The warrior had her fathers,Zeus's shield that had the head of Medusa on it and could paralyse her enemies if they looked at it. This Goddess never had children and she was always Zeus's favourite child. She was one of the most important of the twelve Olympians (She is a maiden Goddess.) She is not usually emotional or compassionate.
When Metis revealed she was pregnant , Zeus (the father of the baby) swallowed the baby to protect his kingdom. Nine months later Zeus felt a pain in his head and Hephaestus (one of his gods' smiths) comforted him and he obeyed him and cut his head open with an axe without hurting him. Then Athena came out suddenly, she was already an adult and had her weapons on her, Zeus was amazed. The first time Zeus seen his daughter she won his heart straight away and became his favourite child.
