This week we have 5 words that you must show in your creative pieces. They are:

With snow forecast, it is a good opportunity to do some descriptive writing about SNOW. Tomorrow we will look at the beautiful white blanket over Tanfield Lea, and do a 100wc.net writing piece.

Living in a CARAVAN is extremely hard especially in the winter. We have to travel in it and it takes centuries to dig up the HEAVY snow next to the wheels. Another thing, the windows get covered in snow as white as a cloud on a summer’s day. Last summer the emerald green GRASS was shining on the CARAVAN. My parents told me about Jack FROST when I was young and that made me extremely scared at nights. Snow days are hard to get through. Even though people say it is fun, you can get really sick and also sad!

In the snow I always have lots of fun, RUNNING around outside in my garden with my little brother, making lots of snowmen. Across the road from my house, a cold, crowded CARAVAN stands outside coated with snow. The snow fall is HEAVY down on my brother and me, however we aren’t bothered at all. I remember playing back in the summer when the lush, grass was GREEN and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. Now there is FROST on the ground and snow all over everything. Consequently, I’m sure it won’t be long until summer again.

When I woke up this morning I realized that the field that used to be GREEN was now covered with a white blanket of snow. The CARAVAN next door was now just a big white lump. It felt really HEAVY on my legs as I was RUNNING to school, however I didn’t mind. Also the world is just one big marshmallow. The houses were all covered in FROST. Cars stuck with people trying to push them out. Children were sledging and making snowmen. Despite it snowing, no one cares. Next year I do hope the snow will fall again sooner!

My family and I went to the white fields (snow) in our CARAVAN. I said to myself “I remember the GREEN fields.” The caravan had FROST on the roof, the windows, the door and a bit on the wheels. In the morning I went out to play in the snow and it was hard to walk in the snow because it was HEAVY. Then I started RUNNING around. It was fun! After, I went back inside and had my dinner, it was delicious. Later that day I went on a walk with my family, which was tiring.

My CARAVAN was covered in snow we had to dig all the snow from the bottom to take it to the Lake District. In Kendal the frost was so bad that we had to sleep with the dog. The dog was running through the fields with his hair as wet as the sea. The frosty green grass was as emerald as can be. The snow fell heavily as the dog was running through the snow. He caught snow balls in his mouth. However the frost is as nice as a bunch of flowers.

In wonderful winter the fields of lush GREEN grass are covered in FROST and snow. Even though the snow is light and fluffy, it’s HEAVY on my feet when I try to start RUNNING. The old rusty CARAVAN -abandoned by its owners in the distant field- is covered in a thick blanket of snow, making it blend in with its breath taking surroundings. The snow crumbles in my gloved hands like a fluffy cloud in the sky. A glittery snowman shimmering under the moonlight by the road side waves at cars as they splash sludge onto the path and him!

On Sunday night I went to Edinburgh in a caravan and all I saw was the golden crispy sun shining bright. I went running though the sparking Emerald grass slushing my hair and dancing around the nice breezy air. Early Monday morning I looked out the tine window and I saw a frost cloud coming I know that there was snow coming. By time it got to 8pm at night it was 5cm. “Mam look where is the lovely green grass gone”. Mam can we go home because it is going really heavy? “No” but why. next, we got home before it got heavy.
