We have been busy in class focussing on SATs, but it was lovely to hear from our Classpals in Indonesia, who have been learning about Disasters (as we did last term), and Nepal, where they are about to begin a new school year.

Our Letter from Indonesia
Dear Year 6
Sorry for replying late.
What are you learning now? Here, grade 5 students are learning about disasters in Bahasa Indonesia, English, and UOI lessons. In Bahasa Indonesia lessons, we're divided into groups. Each group contains 3 or 4 students. Each group chose one kind of disaster. We will make videos that tell about the disaster and how we respond to it.
In UOI, we learn how we should respond to the disaster. Each of us will tell the information in a presentation. Each of us will present in different way. There will be PowerPoint presentation, Prezi, etc.
In English lesson, we're divided into pairs. Each pair will choose the topic from a list the teacher gave. And then we make persuasive writing and persuasive speech.
