It was Judgement day my son was just about to see me. I was walking next to my friend Jessie, the person that saved my life a few times. Finally I seen my child but my wife didn't make it my son remembered my letter as he cried. "The war is over" bellowed the people of the city.I was so happy some people I know didn't make it. I am happy but also sad it is only me and my son left. I can only hope I can survive.
We are packed and ready to go. After that, we have the final challenge activity. See you all soon... Let's face it: Fiennes looked pretty exhausted this morning! However, the boys who got 10/10 for room tidiness won an extra canoe session for the team! Look at their response.... Photos might have to wait until the slide show as we will get seriously wet! Fiennes walked to Pooley Bridge today. After a 5 mile walk and steamer back, we then went in the tunnels (although there are no pictures of this)! We also did some scrambling ( hence the helmets)- see the video! Another lovely morning here and we always enjoy a good breakfast to get us ready for the day's activities. Today, Fiennes group are walking and going on the lake, Dalton group are canoeing and Bonnington are gorge walking! The two Steves (Barlow and Skidmore) entertained us with hilarious tales from their stories. As you can see from the video below, it was a fully interactive experience, which the children raved about on the way home! They encouraged us to believe that 'we are all writers'. My favourite part was when they said that you should write about what you know: YOU! They also took the time to talk to Leah about her 100wc post. What was your favourite part? Enjoy the video below - sorry there is no sound, but I've added a Youtube clip to make it more atmospheric! Spooky Literacy Day from Mark temple on Vimeo. a descriptive recount
Excited,I got off my big blue bus and stared at the magnificent vivid gates. Memorised, I saw a bouncy castle; it was called big boomer. The sign gracefully spoke to me. Then I seen a towering ride which looked to good to be true. It was called sim swinger; it looked like it was going to be a thrill ride.10 out of 12 people say its a fantastic adventure it had a height of the Eiffel tower. |
