We looked at famous landscape art which uses perspective.
We used the vanishing point to create 3D effects! Updated: Here is the link! Tonight, Tanfield Lea Primary won both league games. First was a vital win 2-0 against Blackhill St. Marys, where after a sluggish start, they started passing fantastically and won against close rivals.
In the second game, the team started very quickly scoring after 20 seconds and eventually running out 5-0 winners against Delves Lane. Meanwhile, Curtis has published his site - the very first in Year 6! Check it out and leave a comment as he has already blogged the football results, a Where's Wally picture and more.... One day, there was a street that was full
of families. However, there was one house that was a spooky and on that day, a young girl was curious to know what was wrong with the house. Later that day, she headed away from her home and to the house. When she went inside the house, she went straight to the living room and there was a mysterious box. Confused, she questioned “What’s this?” after a lot of thinking, she decided to open it. But when she opened the lid it sucked her in and she was never seen again. Last week, we actually gave out 3 class awards: Cailen and Curtis both achieved more than 20000 points on Mathletics, whilst Lara won the class design for Nick Sharratt's pants (see the previous post). Brilliant effort! In addition, most of the class got their first Bronze certificate in Mathletics! Well done - keep practising everyone! |
