A picture (or 2) speaks a thousand words!

Today both Dalton and Bonnington groups went places that the Ipads couldn't go : the water! However, here are some pictures of their games playing together tonight. They are currently all watching a DVD together. 
Another lovely morning here and we always enjoy a good breakfast to get us ready for the day's activities. Today, Fiennes group are walking and going on the lake, Dalton group are canoeing and Bonnington are gorge walking! 
Year 5 and 6 had a fantastic last day of term at Tanfield Comp today. The two Steves (Barlow and Skidmore) entertained us with hilarious tales from their stories. As you can see from the video below, it was a fully interactive experience, which the children raved about on the way home! They encouraged us to believe that 'we are all writers'. My favourite part was when they said that you should write about what you know: YOU! They also took the time to talk to Leah about her 100wc post. What was your favourite part? Anxiously, I ran to the under ground station to hide from the storm but it seemed to follow me! Surely I was safe or was I? Outside it sounded like world war three because it was so loud. The sounds sent shivers through me. My face dropped as I heard squealing and shouting. "Save me!" Although I instantly knew it was my mums voice, I wondered how she could be here. Should I go? Should I stay? I asked myself. Gracefully I ran out side and.....
Blue sky's and Pink clouds blossom at speeds of one hundred miles an hour. At last I was safe! Last week's awards went to: Star of the Week - Jack F for working hard in class Blogger of the Week - In a week when lots of people got online to leave comments, this week's Blogger of the Week is a double award to Curtis and his gran for leaving the first comment by a carer! Well done to all three of you!
