After Edward the Confessor died in 1066, the Witan (council) had to decide who would be King of England. We discussed the candidates but were keenest on Harold Godwinson and Harald Hardrada. Who do you think is the most persuasive? Do you know who was made King? Today we became the particles in solids, liquids and gases. Here is a diagram of those particles: Can you match our pictures and videos to the diagram? I hope you have all had a lovely summer and looking forward to a new term in Year 6.
Our Topic work for the first term will focus on the Normans.
